Ask the Expert: Something for Everybody (new online learning launch)

Online Session via Teams
Session
24 Apr 2024 (Wed) 5:30pm to 6:00pm
This extraordinary Ask the Expert session will focus on the diverse experiences of people with Parkinson’s and showcase our latest education offering.

Fight Parkinson’s has developed three new online courses, supported by a grant from the John and Mary McAlister Howden Charitable Trust:

  • Carers and Parkinson’s
  • LGBTIQA+ and living with Parkinson’s
  • Women and Parkinson’s

These courses are designed to provide support and education to under-served individuals in the community. These individuals often face barriers in accessing support and experience unique challenges related to Parkinson’s that may differ from what is commonly understood.

The courses aim to empower these groups with the knowledge and skills to navigate Parkinson’s, complex healthcare and support systems, ensuring that people in the community are well-supported so that they can live well.

During the session, you’ll get an exclusive sneak peek of each course. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join the conversation and learn about these vital topics.
