Every day, our multidisciplinary health team provides expert information, education and support to people living with Parkinson’s, their families and healthcare professionals.
Fight Parkinson’s strives to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s and Atypical Parkinson’s across Victoria as guided by our Strategic Plan.
Health education programs for Parkinson’s
Fight Parkinson’s provides a variety of tailored education programs to help people with Parkinson’s, carers, and healthcare professionals to better understand symptoms, treatment options and to improve self-management.
Last year alone, we provided education to more than 2,500 people across Victoria, not including those who visited our online resources or learned via a support group.

Fight Parkinson’s Peer Support Groups in Victoria
Fight Parkinson’s runs more than 60 peer support groups across metropolitan, regional, and rural Victoria. They provide an invaluable opportunity for people with Parkinson’s to learn more about living with Parkinson’s.
They also provide Parkinson’s help for carers and families to connect with like-minded people experiencing the same challenges. Peer support groups are spaces for sharing information about local Parkinson’s resources and mutual support.
