Aged care courses
Our market-leading aged care courses have been developed in conjunction with Fight Parkinson’s subject matter experts and are specifically designed for health professionals working in aged care.
By upskilling aged care workers in Parkinson’s-specific care, these courses aim to address key areas identified by the Aged Care Royal Commission, including nutrition, restraint, dementia care, and palliative care.
Up to 8% of the population in aged care are living with Parkinson’s. *
These courses provide aged care professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse challenges presented by Parkinson’s. We aim to equip workers with the knowledge to recognise that each resident’s experience of Parkinson’s is unique, leading to improved care and a better quality of life for those they support.
Our courses are available for purchase by aged care providers or individual healthcare professionals in the sector.
