Positive Life: Navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Online Session via Teams
Session
23 May 2024 (Thu) 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Are you 64 years of age or under and living with Parkinson's or Atypical Parkinson's? Even if you feel that your symptoms are not yet affecting your quality of life, it is never too early to learn about how and when you can access government support.

Join our NDIS conversation to learn:

  • how the NDIS can support people living with Parkinson’s and Atypical Parkinson’s
  • how to apply for the NDIS
  • ways to optimise your chance of a successful application
  • planning for the initial meeting
  • navigating the system in the early days
  • how to appeal rejection and service plan decisions

This event will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform. How you register and join the event might look a little different to what you’re used to – but it should be quicker and easier!

  • You can register by selecting the Register button
  • We’ll send you a Join Link – there’s no need to download anything
  • When you join the event, your camera and microphone will be turned off but you will be able to turn them on
  • You can contact us on (03) 8809 0400 or email [email protected]
