Positive Life: Travelling and Parkinson’s

Online Session via Teams
Session
18 Sep 2024 (Wed) 10:00am to 11:00am
Planning your next trip but unsure how you will manage your Parkinson’s whilst you are away? Keen to travel but not sure how Parkinson’s will impact on insurance, logistics or safety?

Many people diagnosed with Parkinson’s will be keen to travel. With some extra planning, people with Parkinson’s can ensure they manage well and enjoy their time away.

Join Fight Parkinson’s Nurse, Victor McConvey, as he shares tips about travel preparation, accommodation considerations, medication management, transportation of aids or essential equipment, management of fatigue or anxiety, and provide suggestions for troubleshooting symptom and communication challenges.
