Session 2
31 Oct 2025 (Fri) 4:00pm to 5:30pm
This Recently Diagnosed Seminar is two 90-minute sessions held online from 4:00pm to 5:30pm on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 October.

A diagnosis of Parkinson’s is life-changing, so it’s only normal to feel overwhelmed by what this means. For many people, questions often come up after leaving the doctor’s office. That is why the Fight Parkinson’s Recently Diagnosed Seminars have been such a valued education offering for more than 15 years.

These sessions provide a safe environment for individuals and their families to better understand diagnosis and have their questions answered by a clinical Parkinson’s nurse. You will be provided with the knowledge and tools to build a foundation for improved confidence, self-management and care, including symptom management strategies and information on the many support services available.

To get the most out of the sessions, we recommend attending both sessions by joining at 4:00pm each day. The sessions are designed for people who have been diagnosed in the past five years; family members are also welcome to attend. The sessions are free to attend, but make sure to register below so we can send you the link to join us online.
