This Ask the Expert will discuss research into the mitochondria and how better understanding of it may unlock future treatments.
  • What function does the mitochondrial have?
  • When there is mitochondrial dysfunction, how does it relate to Parkinson’s?
  • Are there any known causes of mitochondrial dysfunction?
  • Is the mitochondria and treatments which could target and prevent its dysfunction a potential way of stopping or slowing Parkinson’s?

This event will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform. How you register and join the event might look a little different to what you’re used to – but it should be quicker and easier!
