The Award was accepted by Fight Parkinson’s Board Chair, Philip Thomas, on behalf of the more than 57,000 people across Victoria who are living with Parkinson’s (including Young Onset) and Atypical Parkinson’s (including CBS, MSA, and PSP), their carers, families, and loved ones.
Fight Parkinson’s is proud to stand beside the community and work with those dedicated to:
- Empowering people with Parkinson’s to lead fulfilling lives
- Advancing advocacy and amplifying voices of lived experience
- Driving research toward better treatments, care, and prevention.
We are grateful to have stood alongside a number of other outstanding individuals and organisations, including:
- Carrie Bickmore OAM – Victorian of the Year
- Chloe Hayden – Young Victorian of the Year
- Linfox – Good Corporate Citizen
- Craft Victoria – Victorian Arts Award

Fight Parkinson’s would also like to thank the Awards Committee and the Trustees of the Victoria Day Council for recognising our work in the Parkinson’s community.
