All welcome to join the Mildura Slow Walk

One of Victoria’s most enduring Parkinson’s fundraising walks, the Mildura Slow Walk for Parkinson’s, is back, with everyone welcome to join the celebration on Sunday 10 April.

In its 11th year, the meeting point is Henderson Park, from where participants will walk 2km to Jaycee Park.

Registration opens at 9.30am on the day with a $5 registration fee. Limber up with the Kinetic Exercise Physiology warm-up five minutes prior to the 10am start and enjoy a post-walk sausage sizzle thanks to Merbein Lions Club.

The Mildura Slow Walk participants traditionally wear red, so dig out a red top, jacket, hat or scarf to wear on the day.

The last Mildura Slow Walk was held on Sunday 25 August 2019, when around 200 people joined the milestone 10th annual walk.

Mildura Parkinson’s PSG leader Cheryl Barnes, who organises the walk with a dedicated team, said she was looking forward to coming together as a community again.
