Positive Life: Sleep and Parkinson’s

Online Session via Teams
Session
21 Mar 2024 (Thu) 10:00am to 11:00am
Join Fight Parkinson's nurse, Victor McConvey, as he explores how living with Parkinson's can affect sleep, ways to overcome sleep difficulties and strategies for minimising the impact of daytime fatigue.

There are many ways Parkinson’s can affect your sleep. Sleep disturbance may be the earliest symptoms of Parkinson’s experienced and is disruptive for people with Parkinson’s and their families. Common sleep challenges may include insomnia, acting out vivid dreams, restless legs, the frequent urge to go to the toilet or difficulties rolling over in bed.
