  Although classified as a movement disorder, it can affect people in different ways. Sometimes the emotional changes can be more troublesome than the motor changes, and can have a bigger impact on the day-to-day life of someone living with Parkinson’s.

Join neurologist Kelly Bertram as she discusses gender differences in Parkinson's.

In this Ask the Experts discussion, Dr Bertram will talk about emerging research identifying that men and women with experience Parkinson’s differently, with different motor and non-motor symptoms.

These differences are particularly apparent when Parkinson’s occurs before the age of 50, suggesting that sexual hormones may influence Parkinson’s.
