  Although classified as a movement disorder, it can affect people in different ways. Sometimes the emotional changes can be more troublesome than the motor changes, and can have a bigger impact on the day-to-day life of someone living with Parkinson’s.

  It is important for people living with Parkinson’s to be proactive in the management of their condition. However, they do not have to face this challenge alone.

Ask the Expert: Getting the right equipment for individuals living with Atypical Parkinson’s

There is a wide variety of mobility equipment, communication aids, assistive technology and home-modification options which can help maintain independence and function. However, for individuals with Atypical Parkinson’s, selecting appropriate aids for now and in the future, whilst navigating a complex health and funding system can be challenging. Seeking the right help and advice is essential.

Join our multi-disciplinary Health Team as they discuss, and answer your questions about, when and how to choose aids, equipment and modifications to best suit your needs.

This online seminar is designed for people living with the Atypical Parkinson’s conditions; PSP, MSA or CBS and their family and carers.
