  Although classified as a movement disorder, it can affect people in different ways. Sometimes the emotional changes can be more troublesome than the motor changes, and can have a bigger impact on the day-to-day life of someone living with Parkinson’s.

Associate Professor Grant Dewson will update us on his research at WEHI (Walter & Eliza Hall Institute) into the role of the Parkinson’s gene Parkin and ubitiquin signalling (the process of the protein ubiquitin tagging damaged cells to instigate their clearance).
