Are you keen to learn more about Parkinson’s, while meeting others living with the condition? Join us at an informative community seminar on Wednesday 13 July 2022 at Armstrong Creek East Community Hub.

Fight Parkinson’s community seminars provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of Parkinson’s, its treatments and the value of social connection.

The engaging seminar program is designed to help people live well with Parkinson’s, with guest speakers sharing information on a range of topics:

  • Dr. Tissa Wijeratne, a senior Neurologist, Visiting Professor of Neurology and Chair of the Department of Neurology and Stroke at Western Health (Victoria, Australia)
  • Victor McConvey, Clinical Nurse Consultant & Fight Parkinson’s health team manager

This location will be convenient for people living in the cities of Armstrong Creek, Geelong, Barwon, Torquay, Ballarat, and Ocean Grove.

It will be held at Armstrong Creek East Community Hub, 42-70 Central Boulevard, Armstrong Creek.

Check-in from 9.30am for a 10am start. The seminar will finish at 12.30pm. It is free to attend, but please register your attendance (below) or phone Fight Parkinson’s on 03 8809 0400.
