  Although classified as a movement disorder, it can affect people in different ways. Sometimes the emotional changes can be more troublesome than the motor changes, and can have a bigger impact on the day-to-day life of someone living with Parkinson’s.

  It is important for people living with Parkinson’s to be proactive in the management of their condition. However, they do not have to face this challenge alone.

Are you keen to learn more about Parkinson’s, while meeting others living with the condition? Join us at an informative community seminar on Friday 25 November 2022 at Bairnsdale Sporting and Convention Centre.

Fight Parkinson’s community seminars provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of Parkinson’s, its treatments and the value of social connection.

The engaging seminar program is designed to help people live well with Parkinson’s, with guest speakers sharing information on a range of topics including:

Dr Kelly Bertram who is a highly qualified Australian neurologist with international training in clinical neurology and a special interest in dystonia and other movement disorders as well as general neurology
Members of the Fight Parkinson's Health Team

Anyone is welcome to attend, with this location convenient for people living in Bairnsdale.

Check-in from 11am for a 11:30am start. The seminar will finish at 2pm. It is free to attend, but please register your attendance (below) or phone Fight Parkinson’s on 03 8809 0400.
