Do you live in or near Castlemaine? Join us at an informative community seminar on Wednesday 19 April.
The Fight Parkinson's community seminar program is designed to help people live well with Parkinson’s, providing an opportunity to gain a better understanding of Parkinson's and its treatments, as well as the value of social connection.
Hear first hand from Fight Parkinson's Health Team members, with a special presentation by physiologist and neurobiologist Prof. David Finkelstein, head of the Parkinson’s Disease Laboratory at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health.
A local community member will also share their personal Parkinson’s journey.
People living with Parkinson's, or caring for a person with Parkinson's in a personal or professional capacity, are welcome to attend.
The seminar will be held at Castlemaine Health, 142 Cornish Street, Castlemaine. Check-in from 11am for a 11:30am start. The seminar will finish at 2pm. It is free to attend, but please register your attendance (below) or phone Fight Parkinson’s on 03 8809 0400.
