Are you keen to learn more about Parkinson’s, while meeting others living with the condition? Join us at an informative community seminar on Wednesday 12 October 2022 at Uniting Church Wangaratta.

Fight Parkinson’s community seminars provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of Parkinson’s, its treatments and the value of social connection.

The engaging seminar program is designed to help people live well with Parkinson’s, with guest speakers sharing information on a range of topics:

  • Assoc. Prof. Grant Dewson, Laboratory Head at WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research) will talk about why People with Parkinson’s have reduced levels of dopamine in the brain and potential disease-modification treatments and therapies.

Anyone is welcome to attend, with this location convenient for people living in Wangaratta.

Check-in from 11am for a 11:30am start. The seminar will finish at 2pm. It is free to attend, but please register your attendance (below) or phone Fight Parkinson’s on 03 8809 0400.
