Are you keen to learn more about caring for someone with Parkinson’s? Join the Mildura Parkinson's Peer Support Group's informative community seminar on Monday 11 April at Rose Lifestyle Village, Mildura.

Mildura Peer Support Group's community seminar will provide an opportunity to gain better understanding of caring for a person living with Parkinson’s and the value of social connection.

This seminar program is designed to help people live well with Parkinson’s, with guest speakers sharing information on a range of topics:

  • Neurologist Dr Richard Peppard will provide an insight into a Parkinson’s diagnosis and treatments.
  • Local GP Dr Paul Eade will cover day-to-day living with Parkinson's and what support you can access from your General Practitioner.
  • Occupational therapist Ms Belinda Dixon will explore how to live well with Parkinson's and stay independent.
  • Fight Parkinson's Health Team Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant Victor McConvey will address frequently asked questions and answer questions during the session.

A member of the Parkinson’s community will also talk about their experiences of living with Parkinson’s.
