Ask the Expert: Treatments and Trials for MSA and PSP

This online session is for anyone who has been diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) or Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
PSP and MSA may present with symptoms similar to Parkinson’s, but each condition progresses differently and affects people in different ways.
Hear from Professor David Finkelstein, head of the Parkinson’s Disease Laboratory at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health. Prof. Finkelstein will provide an update on research into MSA and a new drug to treat MSA being developed by his laboratory.
Dr Lucy Vivash, a Research Fellow in the Department of Neuroscience at Monash University, will provide an update on PSP-focused research and a clinical trial conducted at the Alfred Hospital.
