Young Onset Symposium

This first-of-a-kind symposium focuses on Young Onset and gender differences in Parkinson's. The symposium will showcase the latest research and highlight the work of Australia's leading Parkinson's research centres.

The symposium will showcase some of the latest research into Young Onset Parkinson’s and how women experience Parkinson’s differently to men.

It will feature researchers offering a global perspective and will also highlight the work of Australia’s leading Parkinson’s research centres. 

The Young Onset Parkinson's Symposium will be held at the Florey Institute in Parkville on Friday 26 May from midday to 5.30pm, with an optional dinner for people to meet and mingle with others living with the condition.

It will follow a special Basal Ganglia Club breakfast event for neurologists, neuroscientists and health care professionals at the WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute).
